Work as Web Designer
Since 2001 I work as Web Designer on consultancy basis. Thanks to my occupational Onlinegestalter training I started to work with web standard. Now, I use the advantage of XHTML and CSS to program well structured web documents. Apart from separation of content and presentation, I always have an eye open for accessibility and usability. Work as Technical Support
From February until August 2008 I was working as Technical Support Executive with Thomson Reuters in London (England).
I worked within the German speaking team and supported both end-users and IT personnel on Thomson Reuters financial products and services.
Until October 2007 I was working as Technical Sales Support with Ericsson Internet Payment eXchanche (IPX) in Stockholm (Sweden).
In this position I was the first point of technical contact for IPX business customers in Germany and the Netherlands. I supported clients during mobile services implementation on the IPX system and managed the technical relationship with the client after the service launch. I worked closely with the local sales organisation and interacted with network carriers regarding approvals for premium WAP and SMS services.
Visualisation work
Until December 2004 I worked with Mathys Partner in Zurich (Switzerland). Mainly for architecture I created visualisations and animations. During this time, I worked as project manager or as part of the team on over 100 projects, from the single family house up to the city development. Key projects were, among others, the visualisations for Santiago Calatravas World Trade Center Transportation Hub at Ground Zero in New York City or the animation for the new soccer stadium Hardturm in Zurich. Interests
In my spare time I like to go to the movies and listen to music. I'm a board game geek, I like to cook (and to eat), and think that shopping is an extraordinary exciting thing (especially when stuff is on sale). In winter I'm snowboarding and I could, however, go in more for sports all year long.
